Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Great coffee. Relaxed atmosphere. Had a quad breve and a cookie."
"My wife was really excited about coming here. Came on a Sunday morning around 930. Line was wrapped around the inside. I think there was some type of convention so it was busy. The line moved very fast though. The workers were so nice and seemed happy even tough it was crazy. We both got a hot coffee ; I got a matcha latte and added vanilla syrup which was good. We also got a pastry and a sandwich and they heat it up for you. Very good. There was seating inside and some outside. There is a restroom as well."
"Coffee was good, decor was great with Christmas decors, pastries were delicious, and service is friendly. This coffee shop is inside an office building so I didn't have much expectations. I always see a line of tourists so decided to try it! It did not disappoint. Coffee was well roasted and had deep flavors. The cheddar dill scones had the salty and savory flavors. The morning muffin had a good mix of carrots, raisins, nuts, and some seeds. It felt sweet when I bit into it because it had sugar on top but went well with the coffee. Overall I would definitely come back!"
"Free same day refills on drip coffee? Count me in! Forgot about my free refill and accidentally threw my cup away :( but it was awesome to hear that they offer this. Brewed coffee could not be more tasty and the lattes were to die for... especially on a cold-windy morning. First time in seattle, and if I ever visit again this will be a regular spot for me."
"Delicious coffee- very popular spot! I first tried to go at 9am and it was packed! I went back at 11:30 and there was no wait I love the decor here- the colors and theme is so great! My latte was pretty solid - rich with just a touch of citrus on the end of the sip. The service was excellent! Certainly a good experience and I would certainly return - they have a good number of refrigerated items & coffee to brew yourself which you can purchase as well! There’s a moderate amount of seating inside & a number of places outdoors if the weather is favorable."
"First time here. The cashier was very sweet and helpful. She recommended iced tangerine caramel latte and the iced blackberry caramel latte. Both very delicious. The shop was quaint but a bit small. We sat outside which was perfect because it was beautiful weather."
"Only in Seattle for a short trip but we stopped by Anchorhead multiple times! Fantastic on every aspect. The service is personable and the coffee was so perfect! We tried the Honey Bunches of Cold Brew, a Hot Pumpkin Stuff Latte, the Blueberry Caramel Latte and tried the Sea Salt Chocolate Chip cookie! It was all great and if I hadn't planned to try more coffee shops during our visit I would have went here every day... multiple times a day! Oh and the coffee art was so beautiful! I just love when my coffee is topped with some extra love"
"I come to Anchorhead during every visit to Seattle. Their flavored lattes, cold brew, and beans are all amazing. They are creative with the coffee craft and the staff are all really friendly. Even the food options are decent. There can be a VERY long line (20-30 min wait in line alone), so I would get there early if you can. The only downside to this shop is the use of a machine for pour over. The shop’s business does mean that a hand brewed pour over would take too much time, but the flavors don’t come through perfectly as the process isn’t dialed in on the machine for each bean."
